Growing up I can remember walking to school one day and, coming around a corner, and there it stood. In all it's splendor, speed and glory. A Chevrolet Corvette. My favorite was the split T window corvette. It's been a hallmark of speed and I guess affluence today. Because the corvette's of today cost what a house did when they first hit the streets which is what they did today. "On June 30, 1953, the very first Chevrolet Corvette rolled off the assembly line and onto the road. Since then, the car has never gone out of production." http://us.news-republic.com/Web/ArticleWeb.aspx?regionid=1&articleid=10535483.

So I still marvel at the Vette. And I were to buy one I'd have to live in it because I couldn't afford a house.
