Unseasonably warm weather can be expected for today and for much of Wyoming again on Thursday. Winds though will pick up across Casper and the state on Thursday, and as a cold front arrives mid to late day a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms will form in the west and north.
High pressure building into the the state today and Wednesday will make for spectacular weather to be outdoors. There will be plenty of sunshine to go around. Other than a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm in the southeast later today, conditions will be mainly dry.
Cooler temperatures have spread across much of the state. For a change, the coolest temperatures will be found in the southeast due to the cloud cover and a few more light spring showers. Highs will range from the 40s in the southeast to the upper 50s and lower 60s near Casper and Sheridan.

Other than a few scattered showers and thunderstorms in the north, it will be mainly dry across the state today. Temperatures will warm into the 70s and lower 80s in many areas. In the northwest and in the higher elevations, highs will be in the 50s this afternoon.

The weather will be fairly quiet across Wyoming for the next couple of days. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies in central and eastern counties will allow temperatures to rise into the 70s and perhaps the lower 80s on Friday in some areas on Friday afternoon.
Casper will see windy and mild conditions today with isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected in east-central, southeastern and south-central Wyoming today. W
A frontal system is pushing through the state today and this will kick up winds and keep temperatures above average. The frontal system will also bring some rain and snow to far western Wyoming with a handful of scattered showers and thunderstorms sprinkled across the rest of the state.
We are in the wake of a cold front today, with continued cool temperatures and gusty winds across central and southeast Wyoming. Expect damp conditions with a few brief sprinkles possible across the northern half of the state.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be developing and moving across Casper and Wyoming today. Showers and thunderstorms will continue into tonight. A few thunderstorms could contain small hail, heavy downpours and very gusty winds.
Once again temperatures will be very warm and run at above average levels across much of the state today. Casper will see highs in the mid 70s to near 80 this afternoon. Only a few small, gusty thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
