It will be unseasonably warm across Wyoming today. Temperatures will be well above average and range from the upper 60s and low 70s in the higher elevations to near 90 on some portions of the eastern plains.
A strong ridge of high pressure is moving into the region. This will make for great weather conditions statewide over the next two to three days. A few stray small showers cannot be ruled out in the northwest later today and then a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible in the east on Sunday.
A weather disturbance crossing the state is bringing some wind to the east and will bring some showers in as well. Northern and western Wyoming will be in the best position for scattered showers, with a rain/snow mix or all wet snow in the higher elevations.
A passing weather disturbance and cool front will keep clouds, scattered showers and cool temperatures in the forecast for Casper and much of the state today and Thursday. Brisk winds will also be likely.

Warmer spring temperatures return to Wyoming today, but the wind will as well. Above average temperatures, strong winds and low relative humidity will once again lead to very high and extreme fire dangers in some portions of the state.
Southeastern Wyoming will see lingering clouds, chilly temperatures and light rain and snow showers through this afternoon. Here in Casper though, and elsewhere across Wyoming conditions will be partly to mostly sunny and generally dry.
