We all have that friend that is destined to be single for the rest of their lives.

Sure, they may have few relationships that last for a little while, but they always end up in a horrible break-up. And, of course, it's always the other persons fault. When they fail in real life, they take their bad decision making to the social world...and still can't figure out why a "catch" like them are only dating losers.

Below are five habits that single people have that keep them single. Something to add? Tell us about it in the comment section...

1. Post A Selfie From The Gym

What’s the logic behind this? Do you really think anybody cares that you just broke a sweat or wrapped up your third set of squats? These are just “Pay attention to me!” posts that make people want to push the “unfriend” button. Eat a cheeseburger, because your body is not why you’re single…

2. Bash An Ex

Any potential suitors you had are now scared of you. If you’re calling out the last person you dated, the next person you date has no chance in hell. Keep that stuff between you and your ex.

3. Constantly Post Pictures And Videos Of Your Pets

You’re basically saying “I can’t make or keep friends, so I bought one that has no choice but to hang out with me.”

4. Post “Inspirational” Quotes

“If you can’t handle me at my worst, then you don’t deserve me at my best”, or “I deserve a person who can take me as I am, and I refuse to settle for anything less”.

You’re basically saying “I’m effing crazy!” If you have the same relationship problems over and over, the problem is you. Make a change, or come to terms with it.

5. Constantly Post Selfies While Fishing For Compliments

I have a few “friends” on Facebook that post selfies constantly with a status that says something like “My new hair!” or “Feeling silly today! How do I look? LOL!” or “Just lying on the couch at home alone.  Again. What are you up to?”

Me? I’m just scrolling through my feed looking for people to delete. Thanks for volunteering!

This is a great way to show people that you’re desperate – which means the only people who are interested are just as desperate.
