Living in the smallest state in the country can be difficult for nudists looking to share their passion for public exhibitionism with other naturalists. Luckily for those free spirited individuals, a growing number of people here in the Cowboy State are embracing nude recreation.

Wyotans is a group affiliated with the American Association of Nude Recreation and the Northwest Nudist Association.

In addition to monthly meetings, which are held in members’ homes, they also conduct several retreats each year. Past events have been held in Casper, the Big Horn mountains and various campgrounds across the state and region.

They also represent the Wyoming delegation of social nudists every year at the annual Mountain Air Nudist camp in Colorado.

There's another online community devoted to naked hiking, including several adventurous outdoors enthusiasts here in Wyoming.

According to a user named "bareskinzcool", the wild open wilderness in the Big Horn Mountains is a popular gathering place. Meanwhile, "au naturel" recommends the Clark's Fork Canyon and Sunlight Basin near Cody for those seeking an exhilarating experience, sans clothing.

While Wyoming has over 130 members registered on the website truenudist.com, joining an actual nudist club is can be more difficult, especially for singles.

Wyotans does allow singles, but only after they are officially approved by the group. Prospective members are also subjected to a screening process and alcohol consumption is only permitted in moderation during their meetings and events.
