Over the holidays, Buzzfeed published an article ranking "The Most Popular Bar in Every State" The results were based on visits and ratings recorded by the social media site Foursquare during 2015.

According to their research, the most popular watering hole in Wyoming is...The "World Famous" Wonder Bar in Casper.

Since 1934, the downtown Casper landmark has served drinks to the likes of John Wayne, Ernest Hemmingway, "Wild Bunch" member Joe Lowndes and hundreds of horses.

Legend has it, the bar's former owner instituted a policy in 1942, allowing cowboys to ride up to the bar and legally purchase a cold one for their mount.

Today, the Wonder Bar is known for their craft beers, which are created on-site at the Wyoming State Brewing Company.Their menu boasts selections such as the "Six Gun Sirloin," the "Smuggler's Burger" and their signature item, the "W.B.B.F.B."

Denver's Falling Rock Tap House was named Colorado's most popular bar. Missoula's Iron Horse Brew Pub claimed the title in Montana.

Nebraska's favorite tavern is Jerry's Bar in Omaha. Monk's House of Ale Repute in Sioux Falls won the crown in South Dakota.

Believe it or not, they actually have bars in Utah too. Park City's No Name Saloon & Grill is the most popular bar in the Beehive State. Check out the full list here.
