With the dog days of summer fading into the sunset, old man winter is on the way.  But the big question for everyone in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain West - how bad could this winter be?  Lets take a look.

The Farmers Almanac has been a trusted weather predictor since it was first published in 1792.  Farmers and Ranchers alike have trusted it to make their plans for planting and harvesting crops and moving animals to feed and to market.

Wyoming and the Mountain Northwest should expect a wet and colder winter than normal.  That's good news for winter time enthusiast!  Above average snowfall could provide another water surplus for 2017.
