In our great United States, every state has its own tastes and hence, a “comfort food.” Thrilllist.com says here in the Cowboy State, “Beef and buffalo jerky is available in every general store, gas station, restaurant counter, and roadside shack from Cheyenne to Sheridan.” While I see their point, I think a beef or buffalo steak would be more like it.

Nebraska gets the Cheese Frenchee. Its an American grilled cheese, cut into triangles, coated in an egg wash and crushed corn flakes, and deep-fried. Montana gets the Meat Pasty. South Dakota claims Frybread tacos, North Dakota, kuchen (a type of German cake).

What do you think our comfort food should be? Would you want to trade for any of these?
