If you love the feelings conjured by the word “brunch,” Thrillist.com’s “21 Best Brunch Spots“ in America give one real slice of Wyoming. Even if you didn't already like visiting the Big Horns, “The Busy Bee Cafe” in Buffalo might be worth a trip to Johnson County.

Busy at The Bee when we called was Jody Dean. She mentioned the menu is full, "With things that people definitely come back for.” The open atmosphere where you sit in antique chairs overlooking the creek, “Is a step back in time.”

“If you're in Buffalo, you're either lost or wandering off the interstates. Luckily, it’s home to the Busy Bee, a brick walled, old-time cafe tacked onto the side of the iconic Occidental Hotel. Since 1927, BB holds its own among big-city joints. A Texas-sized chicken fried steak is pounded flat and fried golden, but a great move is the Occidental French toast, a cinnamon roll the size of a prairie dog.” ~ Thillist.com

I didn't ask about the odds of any of the cast of Longmire being there when you are, but after reading this, do you just want to go there right now?  And it’s attached to The Occidental, so it can’t be bad.

The only thing Thrillist could have said better was about the interstates. In Wyoming, you should wander off of them!
