Wyoming Statehood Celebration Friday

Friday, July 10^th marks the 125th anniversary of Wyoming statehood. A celebration begins at 3:00 PM in Cheyenne with the early release of state employees and then the Governor speaks from the steps of the Capitol.

Those present will enjoy games, music and other activities on the grounds around the Capitol Building and State Museum.

The State Museum and the Historic Governor’s Mansion will both be open late on July 10th. Streets will be closed around the Capitol to help with safety and access for pedestrian traffic.

3:15 p.m. Color Guard & National Anthem, Capitol Steps

4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wyoming State Museum’s Behind the Scenes/Collections tours (every hour on the hour)
