Wyoming Out Of Go Topless Day On Women’s Equality Day NSFW

That the “nipples of men are okay to display and women’s are not” is one reason Matt Wilson defies different rules for different genders. Matt is one of the main organizers of the 2017 Denver Go Topless Day on Saturday, August 26. As a little boy in gym class on a hot day he didn’t like that boys could take off their shirts to cool off while the girls couldn’t.

From New York to California, participants bore signs of “Equal Topless Rights For All” and “War Is Obscene Not My Nipples,” in a parade to reduce the sexualization and objectification of women by normalizing toplessness.  The participants were outnumbered by spectators, who oddly enough, had lots of cameras.

“It’s important to send a message. These are our bodies. They should not be policed any other way than men’s. Men walk around like this all the time, so why is it such a big deal?”  - Inquirer

This year’s event for equal rights fell on the 97th anniversary of Women’s Equality Day, when American women were given the vote. I heard of no events here in Wyoming, The Equality State, but then, Wyoming, for the most part, already has top freedom.
