Lets face it. Cowboy football has been over for about five weeks now. To be honest. And that's not a knock on the players. Every week they play their hearts out. But when a coach that makes about $600.000.00 a year (not the head coach by the way) can't do his job. The kids suffer. So whats left? BASKETBALL!

I love coach Shyatt. He knows his stuff and gets the most out of his kids. So lets turn to basketball. The University of Wyoming Cowboys tonight matched up against the seventh best team in the country and for most of the game they were in it. I mean they played their guts out. So my congrgatulations go out to the Cowboys. Lenzelle Smith Jr. scored 20 points and Aron Craft had all 10 of his points in a second-half surge to lead No. 7 Ohio State past Wyoming 65-50 tonight. The Cowboys played their hearts out. Period. Larry Nance Jr., son of the former Cleveland Cavaliers star, had 17 points and 12 rebounds despite heavy foul trouble for the Cowboys (4-2). Though the Pokes were out physical in the paint the never went away. Never stopped. Never gave up.

I don't care if we get bowl eligible. We'll lose. Support Pokes Hoops.
