Seems like every time you pull up to the pump, gas is more expensive. In the past week, its up another 4.7 cents, according to www.gasbuddy.com. It’s the proverbial good news bad news for The Cowboy State.

Wyoming’s economy has been hit by a downturn in natural gas, oil and coal but has still seen some growth in other areas. While we like jobs for those in the industry, higher prices when we fill up hit us all.

Wyomingis averaging $2.34 a gallon, while the nation is averaging $2.54, up $08.2 per gallon.

In Casper, the best price around is at 902 E 2nd St & S Jefferson St at the Sinclair station. Just $2.15 for a gallon of regular. Buy a whole tank’s worth! If you insist on paying more, you can shell (pun intended) $.2.39 at the Shell.

In Cheyenne, the best price for gas is $2.23 at Sapp Bros. on the I-80 service road and at Big D on E. Lincolnway. On W. Lincolnway,Little America will gladly charge you $2.49.

Let’s hope gas doesn’t get too high, and hurt our tourism for this coming summer.
