What a magical season it's been in Laramie. For the first time in 20 years, the Pokes went undefeated at home.

Diehard fans could feel something special brewing in the season opener when Wyoming outlasted Northern Illinois in triple overtime.

It would be the fist of many thrilling games for fans at War Memorial Stadium as the Pokes upset Air Force and knocked off two ranked teams, then 12th ranked Boise State and 24th ranked San Diego State.

It may have also been the best season of weather ever recorded in Laramie and each game was played under sunny skies and temperatures.

Let's look back at the last time Wyoming enjoyed an undefeated home schedule.

The year was 1996, many current Cowboy football players hadn't been born yet; some were babies.

The federal minimum wage had just been raised to $5.15.

The average new home cost just over $118,000.
