Federal judges in Wyoming recently sentenced three men for sexual assault, firearms and drug charges, according to a news release from the Wyoming U.S. Attorney's Office.

U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl sentenced Randolph Paul Duran, 27, of Ethete, on two counts of sexual abuse. Duran was arrested in Riverton. He received five years, three months imprisonment, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

 

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal sentenced Andrew Lee Pino, 33, of Casper for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He received four years imprisonment, to be followed by three years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $400 fine and a $100 special assessment. This case was investigated by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

 

Freudenthal also sentenced Craig Alan Demeulenaere, 62, of Victor, Idaho, for possession with intent to distribute at least 500 grams of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine. Demeulenaere was arrested in Hillsboro, Ore. He received nine years, one month imprisonment, to be followed by five years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and $900 restitution. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
