For the second time this season the University of Wyoming Cowboys Basketball team matched up against the South Dakota University Coyotes. And for the second time this season, the Cowboys won the first encounter 70-53, the outcome was the same. Yet it took over time for the Cowboys (7-2) (0-0) to come up with a victory 67-66. It was Larry Nance Jr. who drove the lane with seconds on the clock to not just hit his shot, but to make it an and one. Nance hit the free throw to net the Pokes a victory on the road. Nance led all Cowboy's with 16. The Cowboys thought they had it won in regulation when an adverse whistle on a loose ball allowed South Dakota to send it into overtime via free throws. The Cowboys next game will be against the Denver Pioneers on December 15th.
