Last season was a mess for the University of Wyoming Cowboy's Basketball team. After starting the season 13-1 the Cowboys imploded. One player was convicted of a felony. Power player Larry Nance Jr. ended his season early with an injury in a torn ACL. And the season was never the same. Now times have changed. 270 days later  Nance is back healthy finishing the first game of the season with 21 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard Josh Adams is coming off a pre-season more mature, effective and healthy. In the Pokes first game Adams poured in 4 of 6 three pointers finishing with 14 points in route to a 78-70 win over Northern Colorado. Tonight the Cowboys matched up against Western State Mountaineers coming away with a 61-46 victory. The Wyoming Cowboys are now 2-0 on a brand new season with nothing but the sky to look forward to. The Cowboys will play Saturday in Laramie against the Colorado Buffaloes with tip off at 6:00 pm. The game can be heard on our sister station AM 1030 KTWO.
