I'm a huge fan of Blues and live music, and was ecstatic when I saw the press release below. In case you've never been to a WBJS show, you're in for a real treat. Not only is this a great way to kick off the new year, it's also an excellent avenue to expand your musical repertoire. If you want more info on the band, click here. See you on the 4th!

The Wyoming Blues & Jazz Society is excited to be able to bring you the Ori Naftaly Band, from Israel. Plan for this to be your big night to start the year off right. Wear those party dresses one more time, or your jeans - just come out to celebrate the beginning of the Wyoming Blues & Jazz Society's 15th year!

The Ori Naftaly Band has twice toured the United States and the Netherlands, won the Israeli Blues Challenge Competition, and was the first Israeli band ever to have reached the Semi-Finals of the International Blues Competition (IBC) in Memphis, Tennessee. This is their 3rd tour in the U.S., and will probably be appearing at several of the big festivals next summer. They are already included in the line up for the Greeley Colorado Festival.

This outstanding young band will be performing at the Attic (above the Wonder Bar) Saturday Jan 4, at 7:30 PM, doors open at 7:00. Tickets will be available at Sonic Rainbow, Yankee Clipper and the Art of Coffee (credit card outlet). 2014 members pay just $10 each, and non-members $15. You can reserve your favorite table for $100 (includes 4 tickets) by calling President Hurk Wahl 277-4139.
