It's a long way from Cody, Wyoming, to Hollywood. The journey hasn't been easy for Hannah Barefoot.

The up-and-coming actress discovered her love for theater in the Cody High School drama department. After studying at the University of Wyoming, Barefoot dropped out of college, moved to Portland, Oregon, got married and had a son.

She didn't know it at the time, but motherhood would eventually rekindle her passion for acting.

When her son Keller turned two, Barefoot began moonlighting in local theater productions. Then, she landed a small part in the NBC drama "Grimm" and earned her card in the Screen Actors Guild.

In 2015, she and her family moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career full-time.

Since then, she's appeared on several television shows, including "NCIS", "CSI: Cyber", "The Young and the Restless", "The Librarians", and "Good Girls Revolt".

The future looks very bright, and busy, for the working mom from Wyoming who now juggles a successful acting career with six-year-old Keller.

In 2017, Barefoot will star in the Lifetime film "Derailed" and the movie "Bad Samaritan". She also recently wrote, produced and starred in the short film "Incendio", which is set to premiere on the festival circuit this summer.
