Wyoming wind farms have collateral damage with dead birds. Nevada is worse.

130 birds caught fire mid-air while flying over the 110-megawatt Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project near Tonopah, Nevada.

The solar farm has thousands of mirrors focusing sunlight onto a central tower to generate electricity. In a recent test, just 3,000 mirrors focused sunlight and caught the birds on fire leaving a trail of smoke, streamers, as they fell from the air. Some solar farms have been vaporizing birds as large as ravens in mid-air.

Change the name to “Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project… and Barbecue”. Problem solved.
