MISS NEVADA, NIA SANCHEZ COULDN’T NAME THE CAPITAL OF HER OWN STATE

The former Miss Nevada and new Miss USA, Nia Sanchez did an interview yesterday, and they asked her to name the capital of Nevada. . . the state she represented when she won the title.  And she couldn’t come up with it.

This is interesting because some people are claiming she faked her Nevada residency in order to get into the Miss USA competition.  She’s only lived in Nevada since fall 2012, and before that she lived in California and tried unsuccessfully to win the Miss California title three times.

Oh, and I know you know, the capital is Carson City.

That said, it could have been just a ‘deer in the headlights’ moment of being interviewed, or she just had a brain fart. But it makes me think entrants should actually be from the state they represent and it also goes go to show us guys, that there is much more to beauty than physical appearances. It was once said that “The bigger the boobs, the dumber the woman.” I would re-phrase that. I think that often, the bigger the boobs, the dumber the guys get….
