Willie Nelson is more than just a fan of the marijuana, he LOVES it! Willie's autobiography is called, 'Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I'm Gone'... not a lot of gray area there.

Willie sat down with Matt Lauer on 'The Today Show' last week to push his recent single with Snoop Dogg, 'Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die' has a very similar subject matter.

“I haven’t seen any side effects that are harmful to me," Nelson said regarding his use of marijuana. "I'm a canary of the mind. I'm 80 years old. Check me out." (Though breaking out in hand-cuffs could be called a side-effect.)

Nelson thinks legalization of the substance in Colorado and Washington is great, saying, "We don't have to fly to Amsterdam anymore."

Nelson is not only a huge advocate of the legalization of weed, but also a devoted husband and father. In the interview he talks of his children, and how he hopes he raised them well.

Nelson has a bunch of kids. He has seven children, including son Lukas Nelson, lead singer of Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.

'Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I'm Gone' was released on Nov. 13 and is now available at all major retailers. The title of the project was taken from a track from Nelson's recent studio album, 'Heroes,' which was released in May of this year.
