Thursday, Nov. 18th, the Wyoming Salvation Army  kicks off their Red Kettle Campaign, collecting money to help the less fortunate of us. They have nine branches in Casper, Gillette, Laramie and Cheyenne. In Cheyenne alone, they served over 18,000 hot lunches, delivered and served Thanksgiving holiday meals to 385 people, they’ve delivered over 215 food boxes every month, and gave assistance with temporary housing, rent, utilities and bus tickets. They also delivered nearly 1,000 gifts to homeless, those in nursing homes, and those who were incarcerated. They do more too.

If not for The Salvation Army, what would have become of these people, these human beings, these neighbors who slipped and fell?

You can help by calling the Salvation Army in Cheyenne at 307-634-2769, Laramie at 307-745-7233, and in Casper at 307-265-8026. Online at Salvation Army.org.

When you see those who are ringing the bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettles, remember, they’re working hard to help those who are facing unbelievable hardships and your donations just might make a miracle happen.
