Daniel Miller, anthropologist of the University College London, is seeking to answer the question is Facebook starting to lose Kids?Miller is compiling data on a 15 month European Union Funded study on social media covering eight countries. Most of the youngsters 16-18 seem to be migrating from the world’s most popular social networking site for Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp and Twitter.

Facebook’s functionality kills the other sites, but the kids have a problem being associated with a site their parents and older generations are using.

Facebook wouldn’t totally lose out to Instagram, they own it.
