Springtime brings us a renewal of the environment, a re-birth of plant life and wonderful warm sunshine to sustain it all. We also celebrate Easter in the early spring too. Many wonderful memories of this grand day come to mind. For instance, one thing that comes to mind is spending time with the family while simply soaking up all the joy and fun associated with an Easter celebration. Plus we always got new clothes for Easter Sunday!

The Easter Bunny is headed to Downtown Casper as part of some Easter activities on Saturday, March 31st, from 10 am until 2 pm. There will be a photographer taking photos of your child with the Easter Bunny and the first one is free!

The Downtown Casper Business Association invites your family to Market Square for a coloring contest to win an Easter basket full of goodies. Stop by any participating downtown merchant to pick up an entry page and return the entry form by March 31st. Parents will have a chance to win an Easter Brunch at the Parkway Plaza Hotel. The drawing for the brunch will be held April 4th.

Saturday April 7th, from 1pm until 3pm bring the whole family out to "Skate with the Bunny," at the Casper Ice Arena. Admission is $3.00 per person and includes skating, candy and lots of fun. Skate rental is free.

Also on April 7th, Poverty Resistance will have an "Easter Egg Hunt," starting at 12 noon. Kids will hunt in small groups as to avoid the traditional "stampede." Face painting will be available and a good time for all kids to wait for their chance to search for some Easter eggs while having their faces decorated. If you can spare some time to help with the event, friend Mary Ann Budenske on Facebook, or email her at maryann@povertyresistance.com.

A hippity hoppity Easter to all:
