If you're going to see Aerosmith at Cheyenne Frontier Days on Wednesday, July 22nd, plan to get their early. Veteran rockers Living Colour were officially announced this week as the opening act for Aerosmith's upcoming Blue Army tour.

The band, known best for their Grammy winning 1989 song 'Cult of Personality', will join Aerosmith for all 13 dates on the tour, which kicks off this weekend in Phoenix. The tour will run through August 7th, when they'll perform at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Canton, Ohio.

Living Colour is currently in the process of recording their sixth full length album, Shade, which they expect to release this fall. Their 1988 debut album Vivid sold over two million copies. The band also has two Grammy Awards to their credit, winning Best Hard Rock Performance for 'Cult of Personality' in 1990 and again in 1991 for the song 'Time's Up'.
