According to WYDOT, as of July 1, Wyoming veterans will have the option of requesting a veteran designation be shown on the front of their Wyoming driver license or identification cards.

The red “V” in the upper right-hand corner of the license or card will not only allow Wyoming veterans to validate their honorable service with a government-issued identification card, but will also make it unnecessary for them to carry other documentation proving their service.

How cool would it be if local businesses would also use the "V" designation to give discounts, upgrades, etc?  Have you seen this in other states or have an idea of how Wyoming businesses could honor our veterans?
