Rumors have been rampant about the possible reunion of Ed Van Halen and David Lee Roth. Producer John Shanks  tweeted a few months back that, “Van Halen was in studio working on a new project with David Lee Roth.”  Apparently there is some truth in all the madness. According to rockaaa.com, the band is heading to Australia in September for the Soundwave Revolution 2011.   Dave has not recorded with the band since 1983, the sessions that became the 1984 album. Alice Cooper is headed down for the festival too!

We can only hope these shows come to fruition and maybe they’ll tour the states, By the way there’s rumors of an album also!
