LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The University of Wyoming's presidential search committee is one step closer to finding a candidate, as they have finished their presidential profile.

The 16-page document details the university's mission statement, setting and what is expected form the next president. The profile includes comments from dozens of public meetings over the summer.

The committee is looking for a presidential candidate who can lead and develop a comprehensive vision for the university.

Applications and nominations are already being accepted for the position, and will continue until the position is filled. Officials say the presidential search will next pass 10 to 15 candidates to the second search committee for review, possibly by the end of the month.
