The often controversial Ted Nugent  penned an op-ed piece giving his take on recent shooting of a young black man, in Ferguson, Missouri.

In comments posted on the conservative website WND.com, the 65-year-old rocker complains that the media failed to provide details of the suspect or suspects in the recent shooting, while coverage of Brown's killing focused on his race and that of the officer responsible.

Nugent then proceeds to rail at length about the welfare system in the U.S., blaming it and Democrats for a litany of social woes.  He ends his essay with, "The road to peace and prosperity in America is to reject the big liberal lie and all those who endorse it.  Liberalism is a lie.  Liberalism is a scam.  Liberalism is a killer."

Nugent, of course, is known for his outspoken conservative political views.  Earlier this year, he grabbed media attention when he called President Barack Obama a "subhuman mongrel" during an interview with Guns.com.
