If you got a project you want the world to see, the Big Game seems to perfect jumping off point. U2 will take advantage of the massive audience to release a new song.

During the big game, a new commercial featuring the Irish rockers performing the tune will premiere and the song also will be made available as a free download at iTunes for a 24-hour period.

The campaign is part of new partnership between U2, the (RED) charity and Bank of America.  For every track downloaded over the course of those 24 hours, Bank of America will donate $1 -- up to a total of $2 million -- to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.  The initiative's goal is to raise more than $10 million for the cause, which would bring the total amount (RED) has brought in for the fund to $250 million since it was founded in 2006 by U2's Bono and activist Bobby Shriver.
