The Wyoming Winter Weather Poll

This weekend, I heard a friend make the most outrageous comment ever.

"I can't wait for winter," he said.

Believe it or not, there are some folks who actually look forward to the cold and snow.

What's wrong with those people?

They say crazy things like, "It's nice to live somewhere with all four seasons" and "it's easier to warm up in the winter than cool down in the summer".

Sure, you can ski and snowboard in the winter. Maybe you're into ice fishing or snowmobiling. Maybe you own a closet full of brightly covered Christmas sweaters and you love college basketball.

But seriously, you love the wintertime? You like scraping snow and ice off your windshield in the frigid cold? You enjoy complete darkness at 5 p.m.? How 'bout shovelling your sidewalk after a blizzard with the Wyoming wind blowing directly in your face?

Clearly, these insane cold weather fanatics make up a small percentage of us, right?
