Wyoming is a great state for star gazing. It is one of the benefits of being the least populous states in the country. There is a lack of “light pollution” and an abundance of amazing landscapes. Tim Doolin Photography shot this time-lapse video at Brooks Lake Lodge.

You can see planes crossing the sky like slow moving shooting stars. There are occasional movements of light near the lodge. About half way through the video, you can see flares of orange light that are coming from the Lava Creek Fire. Near morning a light in the back turns on. It could be the kitchen where possibly someone is brewing coffee and cooking bacon and eggs.
