Jimi Hendrix died September 18th, 1970, but his legacy still lives. His home-town city of Seattle is scheduled to open Jimi Hendrix Park next year, but a bus shelter built in honor of the famed guitarist is set to be unveiled.

On November 19, the Jimi Hendrix Park Foundation and The Friends of Jimi Hendrix Park will officially present a Jimi Hendrix-themed bus shelter to the city of Seattle.

The Metro stop shelter, located at 23rd Avenue and South Massachusetts Street in Jimi’s hometown, features an image of the late guitarist.
