The Boys & Girls Club of Casper is welcoming former L.A. Laker and NBA Iron Man A.C. Green to Casper for basketball clinics on September 15th at the Boys & Girls Club located at 1701 K Street. The clinic for K through 5th graders will be held from 11 am to noon, 6th to 12th graders from 1 pm to 2 pm. Green led the Lakers in rebounding  six of his eight years on the team. He also played in 1278 of 1281 games thus earning the nickname "Iron Man."

A. C. had a strong strong religious up bringing, but says that had nothing to do with his  abstaining from sex until he got married at age 38.

Abstinence doesn’t really have anything to do with a person’s religious background. It’s about self-control . . . identifying your core values as a person.”

A. C. Green is everything a fan would want in a sports hero and will be  in Casper to share his story and help kids be better basketball players.
