Ted Nugent Getting Paid To Not Perform

Hey Ted Nugent, what are you doing for the upcoming 4th of July? Nothing, but I’m being well paid for it.

Longview, Texas was in negotiations with Ted Nugent to play their 4th of July event, when they had second thoughts and decided to go with someone less of a political firecracker and more family friendly. But because there was a verbal commitment in place, the town is on the hook for $16,250, which is half his standard fee, and Ted will get paid handsomely to sit on the beach.

Longview is looking for an alternative act.

The chairman of the local Republican Party said their decision DID have to do with the current gubernatorial race that’s happening in the state.
