It seems like every time I go out fishing with my friends or family, I never catch anything all that impressive. That is if I catch anything at all besides a sunburn. So when I saw this guy in North Dakota breaking a record by catching a 16.9-pound walleye I was super jealous.
The Fishin' Hippy was back at Alcova Reservoir where his Grandmother first taught him how to fish and to this day it's one of his favorite spots to fish. "Most of my childhood fishing memories are from there and no matter where my adventures take me, I'm always drawn back to Alcova!"
When you find a good thing it's best to keep it or keep at it, as in the case of the Fishin' Hippy. Glendo was fruitful in search of the elusive ''eyes!'' This last trip was very successful and we were informed that the walleye fishing would continue to be good.
The Hippy hit the road to Glendo State Park for some Walleye fishing and found the "eyes" to be very finicky, "You can have fun for 20 minutes, then you're wondering where did they go for the rest of the day?"
