Neil’s 51st birthday on Feb. 8 coincided neatly with the band’s residence at Sin City’s Hard Rock Hotel And Casino, which runs through Feb. 19, and his bandmates commemorated the occasion in style.

One the eve of Motley Crue‘s current run of intimate Las Vegas residency shows, we talked to guitarist Mick Mars about the band’s plans for the big event, how he’s progressing with his own solo album, and when fans can possibly expect the next Motley record. (Hint: 2013′s looking like a big year for Crue fanatics.)

The Crue will become the first hard rock band to play a Las Vegas residency when they descend upon the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in February 2012.

Vince Neil and Motley Crue are rocking around the country with the New York Dolls on their summer tour,(Vince hasn't even been arrested) which will find the Crue in Cheyenne on the 27th at Cheyenne Frontier Days.
