Thin Lizzy Alumni Project, Black Star Riders, Announce 'All Hell Breaks Loose' CD

As reported by Ultimate Classic Rock this past December, Thin Lizzy member Scott Gorham announced the formation of a new group, Black Star Riders. Now, the group has confirmed details of their debut full-length effort, scheduled to be released in late May. 'All Hell Breaks Loose' is slated for release in the United States on May 28 via Nuclear Blast.

On March 4, 1983, Thin Lizzy released what would end up being their final studio LP, 'Thunder And Lightning.' Two years earlier, band leader Phil Lynott brought in guitarist John Sykes to replace Snowy White and join the core band of Lynott, guitarist Scott Gorham and the ever-loyal Brian Downey on drums.

Gary Moore, guitarist of the legendary Irish group Thin Lizzy was found dead in a hotel room in Spain early on Sunday. He was drafted into Thin Lizzy by the band’s late frontman Phil Lynott to replace the departing Eric Bell. Lynott died in 1986 but a new line-up of Thin Lizzy continues to tour. [...]
