'Family Guy' Boston Bombing Video: Seth MacFarlane Responds to Tasteless Internet Hoax

Barely one full day after the tragic events of the Boston Marathon bombings, and already a tasteless parody video has begun to make the rounds, splicing together several different clips from FOX's long-running animation titan 'Family Guy' to make it appear as if a March 17 episode predicted yesterday's attacks. While the video makes the rounds, series creator and animation magnate Seth MacFarlane has issued his own statement denouncing the hoax.

Seth MacFarlane is seemingly Hollywood's busiest man. Not only does he have a block of animated programing on the Fox network, he just made the smash hit 'Ted,' is about to host the Oscars, and has at least two movies in the works. Though there was word that 'Ted 2' would be filming shortly, it looks like his comic Western 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' is coming first, and will be co-starring Charlize Theron.

That period from 2003-2005 when 'Family Guy' almost went away seems like a lifetime ago, as now MacFarlane has three cartoon shows going on Fox, just had a hit movie with 'Ted,' is about to host the Oscars and has just lined up his next feature film, in which he'll star and direct.
