Sunday night headliner and 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival closing act, Sam Bush, showcases why he is known as "The King Of Telluride". Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association. Bush proved that he deserves every bit of recognition that he has gotten, and will continue to get.

"Sam Bush is a Bluegrass institution." A true statement, but possibly a misleading one.

The Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado is one of the most well known bluegrass festivals in the country.  Around those parts Sam Bush is known as "The King of Telluride".  Unlike most royalty, this king's throne is a stage and his scepter is a mandolin.

The year was 1952, in Bowling Green, Kentucky - a child was born that would end up changing the face of American Bluegrass. His name was Sam Bush.
