The bell rang on round five of the "was Sebastian Bach asked to join Motley Crue?" debate between Nikki Sixx and the former Skid Row frontman late last night, with Bach providing video of Sixx recounting a time when they all at least rehearsed together.

A simple Sebastian Bach tweet has sparked a war of he said-he said between the former Skid Row singer and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, with neither side looking like they're ready to give in.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx says the story that Sebastian Bach is telling about being asked to join Motley Crue is simply not true. Last week, the Skid Row singer said he was asked to replace Vince Neil when the singer left the group in 1992. Sixx said it never happened.

Nikki Sixx thanked fans for their words of support following the June 8 death of his mother Deana Richards. Sixx shared the news via Twitter early Sunday morning. Details of her passing have not been made available.

There will soon be a new Mrs. Sixx as Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx has announced he and girlfriend Courtney Bingham plan to marry. The two have been dating since November 2010; it's the third marriage for Sixx after unions to Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt and actress Donna D'Errico.
