A simple Sebastian Bach tweet has sparked a war of he said-he said between the former Skid Row singer and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, with neither side looking like they're ready to give in.
Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx says the story that Sebastian Bach is telling about being asked to join Motley Crue is simply not true. Last week, the Skid Row singer said he was asked to replace Vince Neil when the singer left the group in 1992. Sixx said it never happened.
Sebastian Bach says he was once asked to replace Vince Neil in Motley Crue, but turned down the gig in order to remain in his old band, Skid Row: "Gee I sure know how to pick em."
Motley Crue singer Vince Neil doesn't see the point in recording a full-length LP in today's musical climate, but fans can still look forward to hearing some new songs on the soundtrack to an upcoming movie based on the band's memoir, 'The Dirt.' Not that Neil has any idea when that might happen, mind you.
It was on this day, June 17, 1987, that Vittoria Hohman filed a lawsuit against Mötley Crüe & promoters for suffering hearing loss after attending their concert in St. Petersburg, Fllorida.

Nikki Sixx thanked fans for their words of support following the June 8 death of his mother Deana Richards. Sixx shared the news via Twitter early Sunday morning. Details of her passing have not been made available.
It's the end of an era for Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. The band wrapped their most recent tour with a gig at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City on Saturday night (May 25), and the show also marked the final appearance of Lee's unique roller coaster drum set.
