Though it may not speak for the 3D boom entire, we're happy to report that 'Independence Day' will not be getting the 3D re-release in the summer of 2013. To be honest, we hoped it would never happen.

Forget about the dawn’s early light, this Fourth of July is all about the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air and maybe even a couple of spiders. Those are the ones that, well, look kind of like a spider, anyway.
Another year has come and gone, and with it, the remnants of the 2011 Fireworks Festival that was held at the Casper Events Center. Approximately a million people (ok, maybe not that many) came out to see amazing bands, eat incredible food, and drink adequate beer.

Fireworks Festival 2011 will be held Monday, July 4th on the grounds of the Casper Events Center. There will be a Beer Garden as well as food and vendor booths that include BBQ, kettle corn, jewelry, purses, and lots of other great items and tasty treats! 107.9 The River, Townsquare Media and the City of Casper are pleased to announce that THE DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BAND will be this year’s featured performers.

The biggest show in the sky is back – Monday, July 4 on the grounds of theCasper Events Center. Fireworks Festival 2011 will feature the biggest party in Wyoming to celebrate America – with the legendary New Orleans party that is the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, plus local favorites IndiSoul, Rock & Roll Suzie, and Cory & The Crew.
