When Heart take the stage for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight (April 18), it will be the first time the band's original lineup have performed together since Roger Fisher left after his personal relationship with Nancy Wilson ended in 1979.

Along with Rush, Randy Newman and disco icon Donna Summer, the sibling-fronted classic-rock band Heart will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next week. Following that, Ann and Nancy Wilson will embark on a 32-date tour that kicks off in West Palm Beach, Fla., on June 17, and wraps up on August 30 in Portland, Ore.

With their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame coming soon, Heart have taken the opposite approach as Guns N' Roses. On Saturday (Feb. 16), it was revealed that the band's original lineup will reunite and perform at the ceremony in April.

Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart chose the iconic Led Zeppelin song 'Stairway to Heaven' to play for the legends at the Kennedy Center Honors late last year. The performance stirred up emotions deep within Robert Plant and brought the entire audience to their feet. A well-rehearsed, talented gospel choir covers any flaws in the Hall of Fame nominees' performance.

In a performance that had Robert Plant on the verge of tears, Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart sang 'Stairway to Heaven' as the finale of a star-studded musical tribute to Led Zeppelin during the Kennedy Center Honors, which were broadcast last night (Dec. 26) on CBS.

Among the 2013 inductees for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame are prog-rockers "Rush", and classic rock sister act, "Heart".
