Muhammad Rahim al-Afghani is a suspected terrorist from Afghanistan. The United States government classifies him as a high ranking member of Al-Qaeda and former associate of Osama Bin Laden. Since 2008, he has been detained at Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba.

That hasn't stopped him from looking for love online. According to a series of recently released letters written to his attorney, al-Afgani has launched a profile on the popular dating website Match.com.

He describes himself as "detained, but ready to mingle". Interestingly enough, the profile also lists the 80's hair metal band Poison among al-Afgani's favorite musical groups. He's such a fan, in fact, that he quoted Bret Michaels in a letter to his attorney, describing his stay at Gitmo with a line from the classic power ballad 'Every Rose Has It Thorn', saying "the wound heals, but the scar remains."

As it turns out, suspected terrorists aren't all that different from us. They're hopeless romantics with a soft spot for 80's glam metal. Who knew?
