A suspect wanted in connection with a double homicide this morning on the Crow Indian Reservation in Big Horn County, Mont., was apprehended north of Meeteetse about noon Wednesday, according to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Wyoming law enforcement received a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) alert from  Montana law enforcement about 10:30 a.m. today about the homicide.

A Park County, Wyo., deputy located a vehicle at 11:49 a.m. based on information from the BOLO. The deputy saw the suspect vehicle near mile post 68 on Wyoming  Highway 120 about 15 miles north of Meeteetse.
Because of the circumstances, the deputy followed the suspect vehicle until additional law enforcement could arrive.
About 12:30 p.m., the deputy and a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper stopped the vehicle on the Lower Greybull River Road -- County Road 3LE, Burlington cut across -- 12 miles from Wyoming Highway 120, which is eight miles north of Meeteetse.
One suspect was taken into custody by the deputy and trooper without incident.
