Summer Snow At Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Today (July 27th) Jackson Hole Mountain Resort posted this photo on their Facebook page of snow blanketing the landscape. A good sign for the upcoming ski season?
Although not completely unheard of, snow in the summer time is always a bit of a surprise. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s elevation is high enough for snow to occur anytime of year. It seems a bit too early to be thinking about snow, but just looking at it is a nice break from the summer heat.
