Soul Train Dance Line Sparks Nostalgia [VIDEO]

If you're not old enough to remember Soul Train, at least be happy there's YouTube... you can time travel.

Soul Train was a staple in my youth, especially with music and dancing. Way before MTV came to the states, I could watch my favorite artist perform live on the show and watch, mimic and practice my own moves. The style of the famous Soul Train line is often still used in clubs and dance battles all over the world.

Maybe when a fellow DJ buddy tagged me in the above video on Facebook last week, all I could do was reminisce about how awful the majority of the 70's - 80's style of dress was, but how awesome the dance moves and creativity was back then. The one thing I missed the most is the fun they always appeared to have. the joys of going to a dance party, actually dancing and no fighting or anything negative happening. Ahhhhh... the good old days.
