Memorial Day weekend travel is on. If you're road trippin', WYDOT says:

WYO 130 over Snowy Range Pass was cleared Thursday, and is expected to open for the season at dawn Saturday barring any additional snow.

Travelers are advised that current high country conditions are wet with cold nights. Motorcyclists and bikers should watch for patches of frozen run-off before the morning sun dries road surface. All travelers and hikers should be prepared for possible closures due to winter-like weather on the pass even after it opens.

Next week, manpower and equipment will move west to WYO 70, which remains impassable with snow to be cleared, equipment serviced and the path widened. There is no set opening date for WYO 70 at this time.
